Download Gigahog

The first public release is coming soon. This page will link to it as soon as it is out.

Updates are delivered inside the app once you have installed it.

System requirements

Installing

Open the disk image and drag Gigahog to Applications.

Gigahog is not yet notarized by Apple, so the first time you open it macOS will say it can't check it for malicious software.

On macOS 15 Sequoia and later, open Gigahog once, then go to System Settings → Privacy & Security, scroll to Security and click Open Anyway next to the Gigahog message. Confirm with your password.

On macOS 14 Sonoma, Control-click Gigahog in Applications, choose Open, then click Open.

Or, in Terminal: xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine /Applications/Gigahog.app

You only need to do this once.
